Agnes Honfi was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a 35-year-old painter. Her name is Ines Honfi as well thus she uses both(Hungarian and Spanish) since she was raised in a bilingual culture.
Her education: from 1990 to 1993 Agnes studied at the Regina Pacis College of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires where she was qualified as a teacher of art. From 1994 on she studied painting and was graduated from the Regina Pacis College of Fine Arts in 1996.
One year later she came to Hungary, she has been living in Budapest since then. At the moment she is spending a few months in Denmark. Her gallery show, called PRIMAVERA will be opened by the Argentinian Ambassador to Hungary, His Excellency Domingo Cullen. Date: 2nd April 2008 at 6 pm.
